Review on Maybelline products and update!

DISCLAIMER: I am not affiliated with any company nor was I paid to do this review. These are based from my own opinion.

My mom gave me products from Maybelline which she bought and decided not to use so, she gave them to me instead.
I already tried several products from Maybelline like the infamous BB Cream, Waterproof Mascara and the Mineral Translucent Loose Powder and was pretty amused by what the products can do.
Over time, I have learned that Maybelline are especially formulated for Asian skin which are suitable for our skin tones (yellow, etc)
Definitely a fan of Maybelline!

Products I got: Maybelline's Clear Smooth Face Powder and Long Extreme Double Stretch

So, here is my review on the product:

I got the natural shade.

Maybelline Clear Smooth Extra claims that:
  • it is shine free
  • long lasting
  • it has oil control formula
  • it has high coverage powder foundation
  • it does not clog pores

I don't have any self photos of the product on my face but I already tried and used it.
Here is a swatch of the product on my hand.

Two thumbs up for:
  • the compact
  • spf
  • clear finish
  • DOES NOT CLOG PORES! (for the win!)
  • inexpensive! I think it's around 199.00 pesos :)
I don't have any dislikes about the product.

and now for the mascara:

Two thumbs up for:
  • the two-step mascara (step 1- fibers for additional length and volume, and step 2- for adding black mascara)
  • does not clump
  • a great product for panda eyes!
  • it doesn't have a weird smell like any other mascaras I tried

My bare short lashes.

Applied step 1

Then step 2.
Tadah! :)
Instant long lashes! :)

Dislikes:
  • doesn't wear off with makeup remover, best solution is warm water
I am not sure with the price but I think it's around 600.00 pesos.

Have you tried any Maybelline products?
Did you like them? Care to share? :)

The update:
I also got Clinique items from one of my closest friends in our theater organization in school. He is like a brother to me. He knows that I love makeup so, he gives me this.

If you're reading this Kuya Earl, thank you again. :)
Can't wait to try these out! :)

I hope you liked my review
Have a nice day ahead of you! :)

Welcoming the storm, Bebeng!

We went on a trip to Canyon Cove Beach Club in Nasugbu, Batangas last Sunday. I tagged along to take some pictures of my niece experiencing her first time on the beach.

We were hoping that we would enjoy a nice summer weather while our stay in the resort yet, unfortunately, there was a storm inside the Philippines. No fun under the sun for us! So, because of the rain and the raging waves, we ended up swimming in the pool but the storm didn't stop us from taking photos and sorts.
I am no photographer but I do know some basics in photography that I learned in school.
Here are some photos.

Ofcourse, a photo of me in the hotel's bathroom!

Photo taken by my sister.
That is my niece playing with the sand.

Another photo by my sister.
looking for shells

I took this while I was under my towel haha!
See how angry the waves were?
The sea could eat you alive. Yeee! scary.

The sea water kept bashing through the rocks.

Returned home safely :)
It was definitely an experience!

Have a nice day!
